The article highlights the main causes of death in infants and children under the age of one during the Soviet era were anemia, fetal neglect, lack of constant medical supervision and a lack of qualified specialists in this field. In the early 1990s, the country developed urgent measures to improve the health of women of childbearing age, outlining a wide range of measures to improve the health of adolescent girls, mothers and women of childbearing age. During the period of independence, measures have been developed to systematically improve children's medicine and appropriate measures have been taken.
