This article is devoted to the content and essence of the state and policy in the field of women's rights and gender equality in the context of modern Uzbekistan. Based on the generalization and study of the existing scientific literature, the analysis of legal and social support for women, their working conditions, objective and subjective factors of lifestyle, as well as their role in building a new democratic, legal and civil society in Uzbekistan. They also talk about the ongoing reforms to ensure gender equality in Uzbekistan, the opportunities created, national and international experiences, and the directions and key achievements of the state strategy in these areas. The author reflects on the achievements and challenges of radical reforms to ensure gender equality, and offers suggestions for creating mechanisms to address inequality in society and existing gender stereotypes.
