The article examines the issues of social protection of the population in the activities of Amir Timur, who played an important role in improving the well-being of the life of Central Asian peoples. It contains historical facts about the creation of favorable conditions by Timur in pursuing an active social policy, improving the material situation of the population, conditions for the development of entrepreneurship and job creation, measures on health issues, and special attention is paid to issues of justice. The article focuses on the need to learn a useful lesson from history. The article will be of interest to researchers in the field of social protection and employment of the population, as well as to specialists in the field of social policy.
