The article examines the issues of employment of the population of Uzbekistan in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, which is one of the most important socio-economic problems of our time. It is noted that in Uzbekistan, the basis for effective anti-crisis management was the adoption of measures of social protection and employment of the population to mitigate the socio-economic consequences of COVID-19. The article will be of interest to researchers in the field of social protection and employment of the population, as well as to specialists in the field of social policy.
