Annotatsiya

In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the Russian government was active in the Bukhara Emirate opening branches of companies and trading houses. Since the 80s of the 19th century, the arrival of various monopolist firms and bank branches from the Russian Empire has accelerated on the territory of the emirate. The participation of Russian companies in trade between the Emirate of Bukhara and the Russian Empire is increasing. In the 90s of the XIX century, various branches of banks from Russia began to operate in Bukhara, which were mainly engaged in trade in the emirate. Branches of Russian banks opened in the emirate were engaged in usury in order to accumulate wealth and attract large capital.
