The article examines the chemical composition of black currant (Ribes nigrum) and its biological activity. The anticancer activity of black currant is discussed, along with statistical data from the WHO and a systematic review of modern specialized literature and relevant scientific data. The use of black currant in various medical fields and its effectiveness in treating various diseases are also considered.
