In this article, the opportunities in the field of agriculture of Surkhandarya region, which is the southern region of Uzbekistan, the history of the development of agriculture, the natural and geographical conditions for agriculture were analyzed based on scientific literature and sources. Also, areas of the region specializing in farming types suited to natural conditions were considered.
