This article discusses the current problems of teaching Russian language in educational institutions in the Uzbek and Tajik languages. The phonetic system of the Russian language is compared with the systems of the Uzbek and Tajik languages. The “dissimilarity” of the phonology of the studied languages and the facts of the problem identification are substantiated. We study ways to eliminate the question.
