Annotatsiya

Disability as a result of facial skeleton bone fractures ranks third in our country, and people under 45 years of age account for 50% of all disabled patients. The aim of the present study was to improve the efficiency of surgical treatment of patients with malar bone and arch injuries by using minimally invasive methods of repositioning. Radiography of the facial skeleton bones and computed tomography of the zygomatic bones on a Siemens Somatom tomograph were performed to specify the level of injury, spatial assessment of the localization and the degree of malar bone fragment displacement. The proposed osteosynthesis method should be used in the treatment of injured patients with malar bone and arch injuries for stable fixation.
