Ҳар икки жинсни ажратиб турувчи морфологик кўрсаткичлар мавжуд бўлсада, баъзида улар ҳам сўзни қайси жинсдалигини ажратиб олишга ёрдам бера олмайди. Мазкур мақолада машҳур араб тилшунослари Аҳмад Қаббис, Антуан ад-Даҳдаҳ ва Ҳифни Носифларнинг жинс категориясига оид назарияларига тўхталиб, уларнинг фикрларини қиёсий таҳлил қилишга ҳаракат қилдик.
