In recent years, dorsopathies have gained increasing significance due to their rising prevalence among young patients. In individuals under 40 years of age, chronic pain in the lumbar and cervical regions, as well as the early development of vertebrogenic neurological syndromes, are considered in the context of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia as an important pathogenetic factor. Undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia is associated with congenital disorders of collagen and elastin metabolism and manifests with multiple clinical and phenotypic features involving the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and nervous systems. Therefore, early identification of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia in patients with dorsopathies is essential for optimizing diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
