This study examined the clinical and morphological changes in the organs and tissues of the oral cavity in women in the postmenopausal period. The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that menopause is accompanied by a decrease in the level of sex hormones, which leads to changes in the tissues of the oral mucosa, gums, dentoalveolar apparatus, and increases the risk of dental diseases. These changes can manifest as atrophy of the mucous membrane, inflammatory processes, increased brittleness of the teeth and bone tissue, and occlusion disorders.
