This article analyzes cases in which patients with mental disorders delay seeking care from a specialist psychiatrist and explores the feasibility of applying a comprehensive indexing method to evaluate such delays. Using the Complex Assessment Index (KBI) developed in the study, individual risk levels were assessed on the basis of a set of clinical, social, informational, and psychological factors. Through the index structure, scoring scale, and the mechanism for stratifying risk groups, the reasons for delay were examined systematically. Based on the obtained results, the significance of the KBI for screening, early prognostication, and organizing individualized rehabilitation in clinical practice is elucidated..
