The article examines the travels of such scholars as Muhammad Yusuf Khazin Marginani, Galib Margilani, Muminjan Hakim Margilani, Abdusamad Koil Margilani, Umarjon Mahdum Gurbati, who lived in Margilan in the late 19th - first half of the 20th century. At the same time, this article analyzes the impact of travel by these scientists in the development of modern tourism.
