This article discusses the development of tourism within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The author analyzes the functioning of the OIC in the field of tourism and made proposals on the prospects of tourism of the organization’s member countries. In this regard, the article analyzes the work carried out in the field of tourism in the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, analyzes the development of the sphere, identifies emerging problems and offers some recommendations for strengthening cooperation in the field of sustainable tourism.
