The article provides information about the essence of xenophobia, its causes, historical roots, types, also scientifically and theoretically proved that there is a specific history of its emergence as a negative phenomenon in the era of globalization. Xenophobia is first studied in the context of the study of "fear", and there are national, racial, religious, regional types, including religious xenophobia in the field of theology.
