This article provides information on the purpose, tasks, characteristics of critical thinking technology, its implementation methods and results. The efficiency of using this technology in the teaching of history, its methodological methods and technological stages are presented. Also, specific strategies for developing critical thinking and problem-based educational technologies for developing critical thinking in history classes, methods for creating a problem situation, and solving a problem situation are mentioned.
