Annotatsiya

The functional state of the liver in the context of post-COVID syndrome remains a challenge that has yet to be fully resolved. The multisystemic nature of damage, depending on the varying intensity of interstitial processes caused by coronavirus infection, particularly involving liver function, is widespread. However, the incidence varies significantly—from isolated cases in different regions of the country to several dozen per 100,000 children. It should be noted, however, that the true prevalence of liver involvement is difficult to assess, as there are no unified criteria for its registration.
