The article is devoted to the axiological perception of the linguistic picture of the world, reflected in anthropocentric proverbs. The axiological marking of social facts in the minds of native speakers, which is closely related to the national mentality of the people, is considered. Parmiological units of axiological character are classified according to semantic and pragmatic data.
