The proverbial linguistic picture of the world is characterized by the following properties: reference to a certain socio-cultural society; transfer of national and cultural characteristics of the people (type of thinking, character traits, attitudes); the presence of references to traditions, customs, signs and ideas as an important mechanism for fixing and reproducing historically, socially and culturally conditioned type of behavior; reflection of the semantic content of knowledge specific to a given ethnic group in relation to a given fragment of reality, and the method of its figurative representation in the form of an assessment; the reconstruction of the proverbial linguistic picture of the world makes it possible to describe the view of the world and the attitude to the phenomena of reality.
