The article examines the national-cultural peculiarities of reflecting the aesthetic assessment of a person through the prism of the proverbial fund of the language. The mechanisms of formation of evaluative judgments, their deep-rooted connection with traditional moral values, and the collective mentality of the people are analyzed in detail. The research explores how linguistic units encode external appearance and inner beauty, transforming social norms into stable idiomatic expressions. By investigating the dialectical relationship between cultural heritage and language, the paper highlights how proverbs function as an essential diagnostic tool for understanding the national character. Furthermore, the study delves into the socio-cultural factors that shape these aesthetic ideals, emphasizing that proverbs are not merely decorative elements of speech but represent the accumulated wisdom of an ethnos.
