This scientific article is devoted to one of the topical issues of our time - the legal protection of migrant workers, namely the study of the role of consuls in ensuring the protection of the rights of migrant workers. The main provisions regulating the activities of consuls are studied along with international standards that provide favorable conditions for the activities of labor migrants. On the basis of the analysis carried out using empirical methods, practical recommendations are given to enhance the role of consuls in order to adequately provide legal protection to migrant workers from Uzbekistan in foreign countries.
