This article analyzes the causes of homicides and examines the experience of foreign countries in the prevention of these crimes. Based on surveys conducted among the population, it was found that in order to prevent crimes related to murder, it is necessary to raise the legal awareness and legal culture of the population, organize regular consultation courses and conduct prevention on a permanent basis. As a result of the research, practical and theoretical proposals were developed.
