This article is devoted to such a topical issue in criminal proceedings as the definition of the concept of functions in criminal proceedings. Various approaches of the national and international scientific community to the concept of criminal process functions are considered. Based on the analysis, the author's concept of functions in criminal proceedings is proposed.
