The COVID-19 pandemic poses a global challenge to governments and healthcare systems. The pandemic and its consequences can have a devastating impact on the health and development of children, especially vulnerable children with disabilities. This article examines the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on children with disabilities. Before the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, in many countries around the world, children and adolescents with disabilities were considered a vulnerable group of people with access to medical and social assistance. It was considered appropriate to create a program for the creation of targeted measures aimed at improving the quality of life of children and adolescents with disabilities, the formation and implementation of types of social protection. The spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused social problems in the group of children with disabilities and those in need of social protection, leading to a weakening of their social protection. As a result, assistance to this part of the population was delayed, their access to social protection programs was limited, and problems arose with medical supervision and rehabilitation.
