In this article, the authors studied the etiological factors of epilepsy, and also examined the course of epilepsy depending on the geographic and climatic place of residence. The patients were divided into groups: group I - patients living in the mountainous areas of the Surkhandarya region (n=52) and group II - patients living in the desert areas of the Surkhandarya region (n=145).
