The article examines the issue of improving the methodical preparation of general secondary education teachers for teaching the subject of "Education" and gives recommendations to increase the effectiveness of this process. Effective teaching of "Education" based on modern teaching methods is one of the pressing issues. The author of the article, drawing on many years of methodological experience, has attempted to illuminate new approaches to teaching "Education" and the methodological requirements for the use of educational technologies.
