This article considers the role of innovative technologies in improving the quality of teaching. The inclusion of a teacher in innovative activities affects the increase in the level of his professional competence, activates his desire to acquire new knowledge, to self-expression, self-realization in solving pedagogical problems, to the development of creative potential, and as a consequence the formation of professional competence of students.
