Intercultural communication as an independent science was formed in the middle of the 20th century. The theory of intercultural communication is an independent field that describes the intercultural communication process, its implementation through language, obstacles that may arise in this process, and the reasons for communication failures. In this regard, this article discusses the concept of “intercultural communication”, the main features of the theory of intercultural communication and its terminological apparatus.
