The article discusses the formation of free economic zones (hereinafter referred to as FEZs) in the Tashkent economic region and the economic and geographical features of their location throughout the region. A number of research methods were used to reveal the economic and geographical features of the location of FEZs in the region, including economic geographical analysis, cartographic, and statistical data. As a result of scientific analysis, proposals and recommendations on the topic were made.
