Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the technical and economic efficiency of pre-sowing alfalfa seed preparation technology based on the use of a non-uniform electric field. The study considers the operating principle of an electric device with a dielectric drum, the patterns of seed fractionation, the reduction of weed seed contamination, the increase in laboratory and field germination, and the change in yield indicators. The results showed that the treatment of alfalfa seeds in an electric field improves germination, reduces weed impurities, and increases leafiness, hay yield, and seed yield. Technical and economic calculations confirmed that this technology is resource-saving and economically feasible for alfalfa seed preparation.
