Various studies prove that patients with glossodynia have non-specific health complaints, including headaches, TMJ pain, dizziness, musculoskeletal disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, dermatological and mental disorders. It is believed that the clinical course of glossodynia depends on the features of vegetative regulation.
