The article examines the psychological influence of the perception of anthropomorphic animal characters in children's books on a child’s consciousness and development. The synthesis of real and fictional components of anthropomorphism studied in the ethical aspect. Considered the relationship between anthropomorphic representations of animals and social characteristics of human society.
