The article analyzes scientific literature on global specialization in beef production and the efficient utilization of breeds with high genetic potential. It presents research results on the live weight dynamics of Angus bulls under various housing systems in the specific conditions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. A comparative study was conducted to evaluate the live weight gain and meat productivity development of bulls kept in closed buildings versus open-lot housing systems.
