In this research work, the dynamics of bioelectrical activity and volumetric parameters of the muscles of the lower extremities were studied in 10 patients with congenital deformities and shortenings based on electromyographic data. The data obtained made it possible to identify the characteristics of the reaction of the soft tissue apparatus to limb lengthening in patients with distraction operations, which makes it possible to determine their diagnostic value and formulate recommendations for the prevention of neurological complications.
