Ушбу мақолада “халқаро миграция” тушунчасининг таърифи билан боғлиқ халқаро ҳуқуқий жиҳатлар ўрганилади. Муаллиф ушбу ҳодисанинг мураккаблиги ва моҳиятини, шунингдек, унинг замонавий дунё ҳамжамиятига таъсирини ёритади. Мақолада миграция масалаларини тартибга солувчи асосий халқаро ҳуқуқий ҳужжатлар кўриб чиқилади. Шунингдек, халқаро миграция билан боғлиқ замонавий муаммоларни таҳлил қилади. Мавжуд илмий адабиётларни атрофлича таҳлил қилиш асосида муаллиф халқаро миграция билан боғлиқ муаммоларнинг ўзига хослиги, аҳамиятига қарамай, илмий жиҳатдан етарлича ўрганилмаганлигига эътибор қаратади. Қайд этилишича, ушбу соҳани тартибга солувчи қонунчилик нормалари ҳали етарли даражада тўлиқ эмас. Халқаро миграциянинг халқаро-ҳуқуқий жиҳатларини таҳлил қилиш ушбу ҳодисанинг мураккаблигини чуқурроқ англаш ва мигрантлар ҳуқуқларини ҳимоя қилиш ва глобал барқарорликни сақлашнинг янада самарали механизмларини ишлаб чиқиш имконини беради. Хулоса сифатида халқаро миграция тушунчасининг муаллиф талқини келтирилган.
