Муаллиф ушбу ҳодисанинг мураккаблиги ва моҳиятини, шунингдек, унинг замонавий дунё ҳамжамиятига таъсирини ёритади. Мақолада миграция масалаларини тартибга солувчи асосий халқаро ҳуқуқий ҳужжатлар кўриб чиқилади. Шунингдек, халқаро миграция билан боғлиқ замонавий муаммоларни таҳлил қилади.
