This study examines the role of carbon markets in promoting sustainable agriculturalpractices. It assesses the economic incentives and barriers associated with carbon emissionstrading in agribusiness. Data collected from farmers reveals that while carbon credits providefinancial benefits, the high cost of certification, volatile market prices, and complex regulations hinderwidespread participation. The study concludes that supportive policies, improved market stability,and technological access are essential to enhance carbon market effectiveness in agriculture.
