The article is devoted to the consideration of some legal and social aspects of the need to combat corruption in society. Some of todayʼs traditional forms and types of corruption, the causes and social consequences of corruption are revealed. At the same time, the author notes that corruption is a negative social phenomenon that affects prestige, economic development, and even determines the future of the state. It is indicated that in addition to systemic measures to form, identify and combat corruption in our country, the elimination of the corruption mentality in the minds of society, especially among young people, is a vital need for our country, the relevant conclusions and recommendations are presented.
