As we know, idioms are stable combinations whose meanings are not directly derived from the lexical meanings of individual words. They play a significant role in reflecting the worldview, history, and social values of a people. This article explores idioms in the Uzbek language and their linguocultural characteristics. Additionally, the article analyzes Uzbek idioms as units that demonstrate the interconnected aspects of language and culture. The article emphasizes that idioms are among the linguocultural units that vividly reflect the moral principles, values, and traditions of the Uzbek people.
