The article discusses ways of transferring culturally marked vocabulary from one language to another, and also examines the concept of culturally marked vocabulary. The term “culturally marked vocabulary” is actively used in linguistics and linguoculturology, but there is no common understanding among researchers. Culturally marked vocabulary, due to the frequency of its use, can often be used in speech.
