Mazkur maqolada muloqot psixolingvistik jihatdan preverval – muloqotdan avvalgi psixolingvistik bosqich ekanligi, verbal – muloqot bosqichi va postverbal – muloqotdan keyingi psixolingvistik bosqichlarga bo‘linishi bayon etiladi. Preverbal bosqichda inson ongida psixologik va lingvistik assotsiatsiyalar yordamida muloqotga kirishishdan avval qanday gaplashish, qay ohangda suhbatlashish, qanday lisoniy birliklardan foydalanish tanlanganligi, verbal bosqichda muloqotda inson onggidagi fikrlar verballashuvi misollarda tahlil etiladi. Postverbal bosqich muloqotdan keyingi bosqich sanalib, unda muloqot tugagach, uning suhbatdoshlarga ruhiy-hissiy ta’siri aks etishi hamda postverbal bosqichda keyingi muloqot uchun tayyorgarlik ko‘rish yoki muloqot davomida aytilmagan fikrlarni kvazimuloqot shaklida davom ettirish aniqlashtirilgan.
