The article compares the lexico-grammatical features of pottery terminology of two different systematic languages. Also, special attention is paid to the structural analysis of pottery terms. In both languages, simple terms, that is, nouns, are a group of terms in the vocabulary of a comparative language compared to other parts of speech. The issue is highlighted that the vocabulary and terminology of pottery are a separate part of the lexical structure of each language and its inextricable connection with many branches of production, representatives of the people and human thinking.
