The purpose of this article is to conduct a literary review of studies on the assessment of the state of the oral mucosa in patients with cancer after chemotherapy in Uzbekistan. The article is aimed at considering various methods of treatment and prevention of post-chemotherapeutic complications in the oral cavity, including the use of modern drugs and local photodynamic therapy. The main purpose of this study is to provide useful information and recommendations for oncologists and dentists involved in the treatment of patients with cancer and post-chemotherapeutic complications in the oral cavity, in order to improve the condition of the mucous membrane and improve the quality of life of patients. Methods. The article discusses methods of treatment and prevention of post-chemotherapeutic complications in the oral cavity, including the use of local anesthetics, pharmacy drugs with lysozyme, methylprednisolone, herbal medicines, as well as immunomodulatory drugs. Results. The results of the study showed that the use of local anesthetics and pharmacy products with lysozyme helps to reduce pain and increase overall comfort in patients after chemotherapy. It was also noted that the use of methylprednisolone and herbal medicines, such as Altai rosehip and aloe vera, is effective in the treatment of post-chemotherapeutic complications of the oral mucosa, which contributes to improving the condition of patients and their quality of life. Conclusions. The conclusions of this article emphasize the importance of individually selected methods of treatment and prevention after chemotherapy to improve the condition of the oral mucosa and improve the quality of life of patients. The results of the study indicate the effectiveness of the use of local anesthetics, pharmacy products with lysozyme, methylprednisolone and herbal medicines, which may be useful for oncologists and dentists involved in the treatment of post-chemotherapeutic complications in the oral cavity.
