The article discusses the socialization of adolescents as one of the most important tasks of physical education. The influence of technological progress, an increase in information flow and a chronic lack of time on the lifestyle of modern teenagers is considered. It is argued that in adolescence, compared with primary school age, the development of such qualities as sociability, socialization and humanity helps children better understand and regulate their behavior, thoughts and feelings. Attention is focused on the fact that the education of tolerance and humanity in adolescence creates a stable basis for their further socialization.
