Flower production is an important component of the agricultural sector, contributing significantly to both economic development and cultural enrichment. As consumer tastes evolve, the demand for diverse, high-quality floral arrangements continues to grow, requiring a deeper understanding of the organizational and economic underpinnings of this industry. The theoretical underpinnings of organizational economics provide an understanding of how floral production can be optimized to meet market demand while ensuring sustainability and profitability. Flower production encompasses a wide range of activities, from cultivation to harvesting, marketing, and distribution.Different organizational structures and economic principles influence each stage of this process. For example, the choice between a small farm and a large commercial greenhouse can have a dramatic impact on production efficiency, cost control, and market access. Understanding these dynamics is critical for stakeholders seeking to increase their competitive advantage in a rapidly changing marketplace. In addition, the introduction of innovative technologies such as hydroponics and automated growing systems have changed the way traditional floriculture is produced. These advances not only improve yields and quality, but also optimize resource use, which is in line with today's sustainable development goals. Studying these technologies theoretically in the context of organizational economics allows for a comprehensive analysis of their impact on production efficiency.In addition, economic aspects of flower production, such as cost structures, pricing strategies, and market analysis, are fundamental to assessing overall efficiency. The relationship between input costs, such as labor, materials, and overhead, and production revenues determines the viability of floricultural enterprises. As recent studies have shown, effective management of these economic factors is essential to achieving long-term profitability in the floriculture industry (Kuznetsova, 2020). The purpose of this paper is to explore the theoretical underpinnings of the organizational and economic aspects of floricultural production by reviewing existing literature, analyzing current practices, and identifying key factors affecting productivity and profitability. By integrating ideas from a variety of sources, including agricultural economics and fundamentals of business management, this study aims to provide practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of floricultural production systems.
