The article discusses the literature data of the last decade devoted to aspects of surgical tactics in intraoperative injuries of the bile ducts. It was noted that the main reasons for failures in the treatment of bile duct injuries are the late diagnosis and the performance of inadequate reconstructive operations in terms of volume by surgeons who do not have proper experience in biliary surgery. There is no unity in the choice of the method of operation for injuries of the bile ducts diagnosed intraoperatively or in the immediate postoperative period.
