The features of the clinic of complicated forms of cholelithiasis in 171 elderly and senile patients are presented. The clinical picture of the disease depended not only on the severity of the inflammatory process in the gallbladder and ducts, the presence of biliary or pancreatic hypertension, but also on age factors. In older age groups, there is a frequent discrepancy between the main clinical symptoms of the disease and the severity of pathomorphological changes in the biliary tract in 37.7% with acute destructive cholecystitis and 39.0% with obstructive cholangitis.
