The article focuses on some issues of the history of the study the artistic style and the principles of methodological analysis in modern literature. In world literature, style is an integral part of any remarkable artistic phenomenon, and some views on the nationality inherent in Togay Murad’s style are discussed. Additionally, the article summarizes the opinions of well-known experts on the history of artistic style, its study, the difference between artistic text and literary studies.
