This paper presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of English phrasal verbs and their semantic and syntactic equivalents in the Uzbek language. English phrasal verbs, characterized by the combination of a lexical verb and one or more particles, represent a significant challenge in translation and second language acquisition due to their idiomatic nature, polysemy, and separability. Instead, Uzbek employs derivational morphology, compound verbs with auxiliary components, and distinct lexical roots to convey similar semantic nuances.
