In this article, the author analyzed the regulatory framework for the development strategy of sports in Uzbekistan, and, based on sociological analysis, examined the legislation and regulations used as the main methodology for the development of sports. The article, based on an illustrative analysis, analyzed the decrees and resolutions developed by the head of state and the government in historical and chronological order during the formation of the sports sphere. In the article, the author cited strategic processes in the tasks assigned to the institute of sports by the state. It is the sociological analysis of the sports system that is a scientific innovation in the study of this area.
